Student Disclosure on Distance Education Courses
STUDENT DISCLOSURE ON DISTANCE EDUCATION COURSES
Hope College of Arts and Sciences (HCAS) is required to inform students whether it is authorized to enroll students in programs that offer distance education courses or a full distance education program. Hope College of Arts and Sciences is authorized to enroll students in our programs that offer residential, blended, and/or distance education. The distance education approval covers students who ONLY reside in states where the college has determined that the program meets state educational requirements for licensure or certification.
Hope College of Arts and Sciences does not offer LPN or RN pre-licensure nursing programs and does not prepare students for initial nursing licensure. HCAS offers the RN to BSN program exclusively for students who already hold an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license. This program builds upon a student’s existing RN licensure toward completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree; it is not a pathway to initial RN or LPN licensure.
